We believe the Holy Bible in its entirety to be the inspired and infallible Word of God written by divinely inspired authors. It is considered truth and is relevant to our life since it was inspired by God.
(II Timothy 3:16-17)
We believe there is one living and true God who is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being. God is the Creator, preserver, and ruler of the universe and is infinite in holiness and all other perfections. We believe that God eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1-3, 26; I John 5:7-8; John 4:24, John 10:30)
We believe in personal salvation through the shed blood of the Son of God, Jesus the Christ. Jesus honored the divine law by His personal obedience and made atonement for our sins through His death and resurrection. We believe the blessings of salvation are made free to all by the gospel and it is the duty of the believer to receive them by faith. (Romans 10:9-13; Acts 4:12; John 3:16; Luke 24:7; I Corinthians 15:12-23; Ephesians 2:8; Isaiah 53:4-5; Hebrews 7:25)
We believe in the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirt indwells the Christian, as a result enabling them to live according to Christ and empowering them to share the Gospel with others. We believe that all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit are operative and relevant today. (Galatians 5:16-25; I Corinthians 12:4-11)
We believe man was created by the special act of God. Man was created in God's own image but was separated from fellowship with God through sinful disobedience. By voluntary transgression against God's command, man fell into the bondage of sin. Therefore, man is in need of salvation in order to be redeemed and attain the right relationship with God. (Genesis 1:27, 2:7; Romans 5:12)
We believe repentance is a true change of mind about sin. Whereby, being deeply convinced of our guilt and inability to fix ourselves, we turn to God with contrition, confession, and supplication for mercy. Through repentance we receive the forgiveness of sin and the gift of salvation. (Mark 1:15; Romans 10:9)
Baptism is a symbolic act to publicly profess one's salvation. Salvation is not reliant upon baptism, but it is an ordinance instituted in scripture. We believe in full-immersion baptism, symbolizing the process of death and resurrection that Jesus endured for us. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38)
Believers participate in communion in remembrance of Christ's sacrifice demonstrated on the cross. Also known as the Lord's Supper, communion utilizes the elements of bread and juice to represent the body and blood of Christ. (Matthew 26:26-28; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
We believe the New Testament provides proof in several scriptures about the visible and personal return of Jesus to this earth. It is the duty of all believers to live in readiness for His coming and maintain their hope in Christ. (Matthew 24:30; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-8; Revelation 1:7)
